AP Thailand Public Company Limited, a leader in the country's real estate development business, under the promise of "A Good Life You Can Choose" has opened a world of learning for the 9th year with interns in the AP OPEN HOUSE 2024 program, featuring a special session called "Sharing Experiences". The two senior executives of AP, Mr. Anupong Asavapokin, CEO, and Mr. Pichet Wipawatsupakorn, MD, shared real-life experiences that are often more challenging than theory, while providing opportunities for Gen Z students to engage in discussions and learn about work concepts and firsthand experiences from these seasoned executives. The aim is for students to apply these insights as they prepare for their future careers with a positive mindset, just as the two executives mentioned in their book "A Good Life You Can Choose" - because when the world gets worse, our hearts must remain positive. If you want a better life, it starts with your own mindset.

The stories and ideas shared by both executives stem from real experiences they wish to pass on to the younger generation. Part of this comes from the content of the Pocket Book that shares the organization's vision, "A Good Life You Can Choose," which was distributed to all students before they explored further answers about what has made AP what it is today during the "Sharing Experiences" event with Mr. Anupong Asavapokin, CEO, and Mr. Pichet Wipawatsupakorn, Executive Director of AP Thailand Public Company Limited. They opened up perspectives on work life based on real experiences for students to hear, enabling them to build upon their future work endeavors. For example, they discussed collaboration, sharing their experiences of working together as partners, despite having different personalities, but with a shared goal, respecting and honoring differences to enhance teamwork, alongside applying the Outward Mindset or putting oneself in others' shoes, listening to their needs, purposes, and problems. This concept has been passed on to all employees in the company, evolving into a flexible and open organizational culture.

“The Outward Mindset has helped me and Mr. Pichet change our perspectives on various matters, allowing us to have a good life, especially in understanding people, which helps us comprehend ourselves and those around us, and effectively handle individuals from different generations. A successful company is the result,” said Mr. Anupong Asavapokin.

Mr. Pichet Wipawatsupakorn added, “I hope that by participating in the AP OPEN HOUSE 2024 program and engaging with us today, everyone can minimize wasted time in their lives. They can take our ideas and experiences as lessons to understand and make decisions in their career paths in the industry they love. No matter where you go, be an empty glass and strive to learn as much as possible.”

One of the participants, Ms. Nuchjira Polai from the Faculty of Engineering at King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi, shared, “After listening to Mr. Anupong and Mr. Pichet share their experiences and ways of thinking, it helped me understand the atmosphere within the organization that I have experienced throughout my internship. The seniors in the department have never shut down our ideas. I was also impressed by the openness of both executives, who listened to employees without ego and encouraged them to be Independent Responsible Leaders within their scope.”

Mr. Phuriyos Chuenvorakitpipol from the Faculty of Engineering at Chulalongkorn University stated, “Personally, I am interested in the Outward Mindset. I believe it is a concept that can be applied in real life, especially for my generation. There is so much information available, both directly and from social media. Trying to learn about the needs, purposes, and problems of an individual helps to understand that person better and see things from their perspective. I feel that the seniors at AP have genuinely applied this concept within the organization because everyone is willing to share knowledge with us while also listening to us, even though I am just an intern.”

AP OPEN HOUSE 2024 is an intensive internship program by AP that offers students from various universities the opportunity to learn from real work experiences beyond classroom theory. They get to see the entire work process at AP, including engineering, marketing, sales, and various design innovations. This program has been running for the 9th consecutive year, featuring special activities that allow students to learn through the experiences of the two founders via discussions and the Pocket Book "A Good Life You Can Choose," which has been compiled as a tool to pass on the organizational culture in the AP way, providing insights into the past and how it will lead to AP's future. Additionally, the program

AP OPEN HOUSE also selects 4 outstanding students to study and observe at Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. (Public) in Japan.
